Facts About

Moroccan toadflax is native to the Mediterranean region and introduced in North America. Its flowers are purple with a white palate (the "landing pad" for pollinators), with a nectar spur longer than the rest of the flower. Many cultivars of this attractive, annual species sport a variety of flower colors, from pink to blue, and bloom from April to June. Plants tolerate browsing by deer.
