Facts About

Piedmont staggerbush is a shrub (2-6 feet or 1-2 m tall), with the heart of its range in the piedmont of the mid-Atlantic and southeastern U. S. west to Texas. It reaches the northern edge of its range in southern Connecticut and Rhode Island, where it inhabits moist, sandy areas in forest edges. White, bell-shaped flowers with delicately upturned edges bloom in May-June.
